Burberry Kisses Hydrating Lip Colour in No. 01 Nude Beige and No. 61 Devon Sunset

Designed to give multiple lip looks with just one shade, the new Burberry Kisses hydrating lipsticks are enriched with Burberry's signature blend of tea, lavender and rosehip. They just arrived at The Bay and are available in 28 shades!

No. 01 Nude Beige is a sheer light beige with a cream finish. This shade is beautiful but it can wash me out if I'm not wearing intense eye makeup. It's still more wearable than your typical light beige though because it's sheer so it doesn't look like you just applied concealer on your lips.

No. 61 Devon Sunset is a sheer coral peach with a cream finish. Compared to MAC Cut a Caper, the undertones are a lot less pink, more orangey. This is such a pretty color for summer!!

These two shades are sheer but buildable, although they aren't completely opaque even if I apply many coats. Both colors have a tendency to settle in the fine lines so it's best to apply a thin layer if you have deep lines on the surface of your lips.

Texture-wise, it's a thin formula that doesn't feel heavy or sticky on the lips, yet it's not oily either! The finish is creamy and slightly glossy, without any visible shimmer. This product didn't feel very moisturizing on my lips, but it didn't dry them out either!

They have good staying power considering the fact that I rarely get more than 3 hours of wear with light shades anyway. They lasted 2.5 hours on me. Darker shades usually last longer but I didn't try any so I don't know for this formula.

These lipsticks are worth a try if you can't stand perfumey lip products, or if you prefer a lightweight feel on the lips!

The Burberry Kisses lipsticks retail for $36 CAD for 3.3g.

  1. Devon Sunset looks so pretty!! Nude Beige kinda looks like it might be a bit deathly-looking on darker skin tones, but I like how the formulas are buildable so you can make it sheerer if you want.

    1. Yeah I don't think that nude shade will work on darker skin tones.. it's almost too light for my medium skin tone.
