BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blushes in Dahlia and Tigerlily

Can you believe I didn't buy anything from Sephora since 2015? When you are a beauty blogger, sometimes all these new launches can get overwhelming and there are periods when testing out new products start feeling less exciting than usual. But I'm ready to try new stuff now and when I stumbled upon the new BECCA blushes, I had to get my hands on them!

The color payoff is out of this world and the formula is buttery smooth! They are very shimmery in the pan but the finish is luminous on the cheeks, not too frosty or glittery.

Both shades have excellent staying power, they last more than 10 hours on me!

Tigerlily is a bright pinky tangerine with a shimmery gold finish. I don't have anything like this color in my makeup collection, all my other orange and peach blushes are pinker!

I'm obsessed with this shade, seriously! It looks soooo good! The finish is quite shimmery but not glittery, less sparkly than NARS blushes but more shimmery than MAC Sheertone Shimmer blushes.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush plum berry Dahlia Review Photos

Dahlia is a warm berry plum with a shimmery finish. This shade is not what I was expecting! It looks more plum and less bright on BECCA's website. This color is crazy pigmented and it's really easy to overdo it, especially if you have fair skin. I suggest to apply it with a very light hand and a duo fibre brush, such as MAC #188 or #187 brushes.

On my cheeks Dahlia has warm undertones (almost coppery) and the shimmery finish is quite subtle compared to Tigerlily, because a little bit goes a long way! It's not the color I wish it was, but it's a very pretty shade. I just wish that the color on their website was more accurate!
