Clarins recommend that you use their Professonial Cleansing Method, but when I'm in a hurry I usually just warm a small amount in my hands, massage it gently on my skin, then rinse it off with warm water. I get good results with that method too! It removes all traces of makeup without irritating my skin. It soften and moisturize my skin but it doesn't feel greasy or sticky.
The texture is thick and creamy. It's easy to rinse off and it smells really good!
My only complain is that it doesn't work well to remove my waterproof mascara, the cream is a bit too thick and doesn't fully coat my lashes unless I use a lot, so I would rather use a good oil based makeup remover than waste a drop of that precious cream!

I was afraid that it would be too moisturizing for my oily skin, or that it would break me out (shea butter usually do that to me), but I haven't experienced any problem! My skin is super soft and clean, I really liked this cleansing cream!
