Lancôme Belle de Teint Bronzer & Blush Harmony in 01 Patio Méditerranéen

A few weeks ago I reviewed the new Lancôme Le Métallique liquid eye shadows, but did you know that they came out with two bronzers too? These limited edition bronzing powders are inspired by a new beauty trend : Soft draping!

The Belle de Teint bronzer is available in two shades :

01 Patio Méditerranéen, for light skin tones.
02 Patio d'une nuit d'été, for darker complexions.

As you can see on the picture below, this powder is divided into 4 colors : a golden beige, a bright Barbie pink, a vibrant peachy coral and a warm brown.

All the shades are incredibly soft to the touch and have a great color payoff!

The golden beige has a soft luminous finish, while all the other shades are completely matte. You can mix this shade with the other colors to tone them down! And it can be applied all over the face to add a glow to the skin, as long as your skin isn't too light for this particular shade (or it may look a bit orange).

The warm brown shade is best used as a bronzer. I like the matte finish but the color is a bit too orange for my liking. It's not super orange (the shade is comparable to last year's Clarins bronzer), but bronzing powders tend to pull warmer on me so I try to avoid any warm undertones.

And there's the two bright shades in the middle of the palette. They add a pretty pop of color on the cheeks, but I suggest to apply them with a light hand!

Aside from the fact that I wish the brown was a bit cooler, the only thing that bugs me is the small pans. You'll need a relatively small brush if you want to use each shade separately.
