Lychee/Opal is a mix of bubble gum pink and a shimmery golden beige. You can't really use them separately, both shades blended together gives a shimmery coral pink. It's more sparkly than their Shimmering Skin Perfector (the liquid version) and doesn't have the same dewy finish, but it's not glittery. I was hoping that they would have the same finish (they are my favorites illuminators ever) but it's a gorgeous blush nonetheless!
They blend really easily and they last ALL DAY LONG. Yes, I had to write this in caps lock because the staying power is amazing! This shade is sheer but buildable, as you can see in the swatch below.
I'm wearing Clarins Skin Perfecting BB Cream, MUFE Full Cover, Hourglass Dim Light Ambient Lighting Powder, Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Lychee/Opal on cheeks and lips (with some Laura Mercier Lip Glacé in Bare Naked).
The texture is a bit weird, it has a spongy but creamy consistency and it feels wet to the touch. It's not greasy or sticky at all, so even oily skin types will love it. The consistency remind me of MAC Electric Cool eye shadows, a limited edition product that was available 2 years ago. Becca's Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé are a bit more soft and creamy, but you get the idea.
The staying power is crazy good, pigmentation is really nice because it's buildable and the color is perfect for the summer months!
The Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Soufflé in Lychee/Opal retail for $33 CDN for 5.7g.
Absolutely love it

DeleteCan't wait to get my hands on this one! I was worried it would be too pink, but it looks just fine
ReplyDeleteIt's not a crazy bright pink, the golden beige part really tone it down.
DeleteLooks so pretty on you! Im trying to decide which color to buy. Great post
ReplyDeleteI can't help you about the other shades, I only bought one online and we don't have Becca cosmetics here!! :( Let me know which shade you chose and if you like it! :)
