Yves Rocher Summer 2014 Collection

Have you seen the new Yves Rocher Summer 2014 Collection? Inspired by the Mediterranean, this colorful collection will be available in store and online very soon (June)!

Eye Pencil ($5.95 for 3.25g)
Available in 4 shades : Royal Blue, Copper Brown, Mediterranean Blue and Lemon Yellow.
These pencils glides so easily on the skin, soooo creamy and blendable! The color payoff is amazing too, although Royal Blue looks a bit patchy compared to the others shades. They are water resistant, but not smudge proof (but this isn't a problem if you don't have a tendency to rub your eyes frequently).  Mediteranean Blue is a must have, so gorgeous! I also love Copper Brown, it makes my green eyes pop!

Eyeshadow Trio ($9.95 for 3.5g)
These eyeshadows are beautiful, they have an excellent color payoff and the texture is soft and easy to blend. I love how shiny the light beige and the brown are, the blue is much less frosty but pretty too. Be careful with the blue though, I had some fallouts with this one. I think this is a pretty good eyeshadow trio, if you love warm shades!

Clarins Truly Waterproof Mascara with Yves Rocher Glitter Mascara on tips only

Glitter Mascara ($4.95 for 4ml)
I haven't tried wearing only this mascara, because I'm not a huge fan of colored mascaras and I need the definition I get with black mascaras. So I applied a light coat over a waterproof mascara, on the tips only, and it gives a beautiful sparkly effect! I wouldn't wear it everyday but it can be fun to have, to create a special look. I like that it doesn't flake and the glitters don't fall all over my face.

Bright Pink (slightly darker in real life)

Golden Beige

Copper Sun

Gloss ($4.95 for 4.5ml)
Available in 3 shades : Bright Pink, Copper Sun, Golden Beige.
The texture is a bit thick but it's surprisingly not sticky at all, and you know how finicky I am with lipglosses! However, they aren't super glossy and the staying power is decent, so I guess you can't have it all. The shades Golden Beige and Copper Sun are very sheer, but Bright Pink is highly pigmented! To me, they smell like lemon meringue. The applicator is a bit weird, it's like a flat hourglass shape, it's still easy to use but I've never seen an applicator like that. lol

Compact Bronzing Powder ($9.95 for 15g)
To be honest, I was afraid to use this bronzing powder because it has a lot of tiny gold glitters in it! But for some reason it doesn't stick to the skin so I don't see anything shimmery on my face. (thank god!) It's a warm brown, so it looks better on me when I'm already tan (it can turn orangey on fair skin tones).

Collection Été 2014 Eau de Toilette ($29 for 75ml)
I love this eau de toilette, it smells like summer! The union of citrus floral fragrances (bergamot, mandarin) is subtly enhanced with soft and sensual woody notes. The staying power isn't phenomenal but I like a lighter scent during the hot summer months.

Collection Été 2014 Shower Gel ($3.95 for 200ml)
I also loved this shower gel, it lathers quite nicely and leave my skin soft and clean. It doesn't dry out my skin, but it's not moisturizing either. The scent is lovely, a bit more sweet than the eau de toilette!
