Texture Wave Dry Finishing Spray ($42 CDN for 193g)
This spray is awesome for fine hair because it add texture without being oily or sticky and it also gives lots of volume! My hair do feel dry to the touch and it gives a matte finish (which I think is nice for fall, it gives a nice effect), but it doesn't look like my hair is dry and brittle. It's a pretty cool product for a photoshoot, you can add so much volume and texture! It can look powdery on dark hair if you apply too much though.
Compared to the Kérastase V.I.P. Volume In Powder I reviewed last week, it gives a tad less hold as a root lifter, but it feels a bit less stiff too so I can also spray it anywhere else I want more volume. Both products are similar, but the results are a bit different so it depends of what you want to do with it.
Texture Wave will be your hair's new best friend if you like texturized and voluminous updos!
Detail Master Directional Fixing Spray ($42 CDN for 185ml)
This is a nice fixing spray for sleek updos, it sets style in place without leaving hair crunchy, dull or sticky! It does feel a bit stiff, but not crunchy. Oh and it smells so good! However, I personally prefer an aerosol so I will use it up but I wouldn't repurchase.
If you love to wear a sleek ponytail, or any other look that calls for a sleek or shiny effect, you would probably love Detail Master!
(I received these products in order to evaluate them and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
