NARS Wild Thing Face Palette

A few weeks ago, NARS launched their new Wild Thing face palette! Available exclusively at Nordstrom, this limited edition palette features four eyeshadows, an highlighter and a complementary blush.

There are four eyeshadows in this palette, two matte shades (Alive, Psyched) and two shimmery colors (Erratic, Lala). All the shades are very soft to the touch and nicely pigmented, even without a primer!

They blend out seamlessly and none of the colors look patchy on the skin. I have nothing to complain about, the formula is top notch!

The highlighter (No Limit) is beautiful as well, and would look great on a variety of skin tones. It looks fabulous on medium and tan skin, and the color is surprisingly flattering on very fair skin (it's not too dark or yellow).

The finish is frosty (but no glitters at all) and the formula is buttery smooth. You can apply it with a dry brush for a soft glow or with a damp brush if you prefer a very intense highlight.

And I love the blush! It has a shimmery finish but it's not too sparkly on the skin. This blush is super pigmented but the formula is easy to blend even on the fairest of skin tones. It lasts all day on me, too!

The only downside is that you can't create a lot of looks with this palette, but that's the only bad thing I can say!

Alive is a warm rosy beige with a matte finish.

Psyched is a warm-toned chestnut brown with a matte finish.

Erratic is a rosy champagne beige with a frosty finish.

Lala is a deep bronze brown with a shimmery finish.

No Limit is a light golden beige with a frosty finish.

Goddess Complex is a golden peach with a subtle shimmery finish.

The NARS Wild Thing Face Palette retails for $62 CAD for 12.4g (1.2g x 4, 3.8g x 2) and is available at Nordstrom.
