The shades Pacific, Paradis and Maeva feel very smooth and silky to the touch, while the color Black Sand has a slightly drier consistency. The formula doesn't feel creamy like most eyeshadows tend to be these days, but they don't look chalky or powdery on the skin. They are easy to blend out and look even on the skin, even the dark purple doesn't look patchy.
The eyeshadows are nicely pigmented on their own, although the color payoff is better with an eyeshadow primer. Sometimes I apply them with my fingers to intensify the color and the luminous finish!
This palette also contains an highlighter and a bronzer, and both shades have a similar texture than the eyeshadows. The bronzer (Manihi) blends seamlessly on the skin, has great color payoff and the satin matte finish is beautiful! It's a great bronzer, I would love to see an entire range with this formula!
The highlighter (Tautira) is very pretty too, the color payoff is excellent and it doesn't contain glitters.
I prefer how the highlighter and bronzer look on me when I'm tan. The highlighter is a bit too dark for very fair skin tones and the bronzer is a tad too warm. But both colors are perfect for medium to tan complexions!
I used it a few times when my skin was very pale and I liked it, but I loved it even more when I tried it on freshly tanned skin! If you have green eyes and a tan, you should check out the Hot Nights Face Palette because it was made for you!
Pacific is a light golden pinky beige with a pearly finish.

Maeva is a coppery cranberry red with a luminous finish.
Black Sand is a deep indigo plum with a pearly finish.

Manihi is a warm-toned rosy brown with a satin matte finish.

ReplyDeleteRight?! I love their palettes!!
DeleteThe shades look gorgeous in this palette - is it weird that it's super limited edition, though?! I wish they would let people see some thoughts and decide before it's gone!
