This product can be used as a highlighter or finishing powder, but it's significantly more luminous than other finishing powders on the market (such as MAC's Beauty Powders, Hourglass' Ambient Lighting Powders and Laura Mercier's Candleglow Sheer Perfecting Powders). For me this is too shimmery to be used as a finishing powder, but it's such a gorgeous highlighter!
It doesn't look sparkly or glittery under harsh light. This is the perfect highlighter for those of you who prefer a more natural looking glow!
The formula is very finely milled and extremely soft to the touch, it doesn't look powdery or chalky on the skin.
It looks like a light peach in the pan, but on the skin it has a beautiful pink sheen with a subtle peach undertone.
It's a bit too dark for me when my skin is at its palest (it leaves a slightly orange tint on my skin), but I love it when I'm tanned (similar to MAC's NC30)! I would say that this color is perfect for light to tan skin tones; I'm not sure how it would look on deeper skin tones.
Oh and by the way, it lasts all day on me! (more than 14 hours)
This powder quickly became one of my favorite highlighters, it's perfection! I highly recommend it, even if it's on the pricey side!
The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat 3D All Over Glow Illuminating Powder retails for $63 CAD for 8.8g and is available at Sephora.
