All the products from the Sea Buckthorn range have a lovely refreshing citrus scent (mandarin and orange) and are free of synthetic preservatives, fragrances, colorants and raw materials derived of mineral oils.

The main reason why I wanted to try this skin care range was because I wanted to see if it would help to treat my keratosis pilaris, I heard so many good things about sea buckthorn oil! Well, I've been using these products since 3 weeks and I think it's still too soon to tell if it works, it usually take a while before I see some results when trying someting new to treat this skin condition. But, my skin liked these products (my skin is soft and smooth) and it didn't aggravate my problem!

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Body Oil ($30 for 100ml)
I love this oil! It smells so good and the texture is great. Yes it's oily, but it sink into the skin quite fast, unless you apply too much. My favorite way to use it is to apply this oil right after my shower while my skin is still damp, it helps to lock in the moisture. My only pet peeve is the packaging, I wish it came in pump bottle.

Ingredients : Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Benzyl Salicylate*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Farnesol*.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion - New Formulation ($20 for 200ml)
This lotion is thin, but I was surprised by its moisturizing properties. The packaging is nice too, I like that it comes in a pump bottle. It used to comes in a glass bottle so I'm glad that they decided to change this. I love it, it really helps to soften and moisturize my skin. The lotion is more emollient than the body oil and contain glycerin, so sometimes it can feel a bit more sticky. Because of that I have a preference for the body oil, but both are great.

Ingredients : Water (Aqua), Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Glycerin, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Malva Sylvestris (Mallow) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Tapioca Starch, Cetearyl Alcohol, Limonene*, Linalool*, Citronellol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Benzyl Salicylate*, Geraniol*, Citral*, Farnesol*.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream ($16.50 for 50ml)
The texture is a bit weird, when you begin to rub this cream into your hands it feels slightly waxy and sticky, but it's not greasy. It does absorb quickly and it leaves my hands so soft and moisturized! I like to use it during the day, the scent is so refreshing and I love that it's not greasy. I took me some time to get used to that waxy feeling though, but the results are worth it. If your skin is super dry you may need something thicker and heavier, but at this time of the year it's perfect for me.

Ingredients : Water (Aqua), Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Alcohol, Hydrolyzed Beeswax, Tapioca Starch, Lysolecithin, Beeswax (Cera Flava), Glyceryl Stearate SE, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Oil, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Benzyl Salicylate*, Geraniol*, Citral*.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash ($15 for 200ml)
If your skin is super dry and you like body washes with surgras agents, you will LOVE this one! It doesn't lather a lot but I love how my skin is moisturized after using this body wash. I wish the tube was bigger though, I already used half of it.
