L'Oréal Professionnel Wild Stylers by Tecni.ART

L'Oréal Professionnel is one of my favorite brands, their Mythic Oil made it into my Best of Beauty 2012, and it's still a favorite of mine! Earlier this summer they launched Wild Stylers, an hair styling line that creates a wild and sexy look with no rough touch.

Hair :  Beach Waves, Crêpage de Chignon, Depolish Me
Makeup : It Cosmetics CC Cream in Light & Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof, Anastasia Contour Kit, Nars blush in Luster, Dose of Colors lipsticks in Soft Touch & Karma, L'Oréal Sahara Treasure eyeshadow, Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Extravagant mascara, TheBalm Brow Pow in Dark Brown and Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil in Dark Brunette.

I try to use my blow dryer less often now, because I had to bleach and tone my hair twice to get rid of all the red undertones, and I want to prevent hair damage by letting my hair dry naturally. The Wild Stylers collection is perfect to get beautiful wavy hair without the use of a blow dryer or curling iron!

Beach Waves Texturizing Salt Spray ($25 CDN for 150ml)
This spray is awesome! My hair is pretty straight and when I let them air dry, they get a slight wave but it looks looks a little bit limp. With Beach Waves, my hair is more wavy and voluminous, it really gives a beach-effect. It doesn't feel too crunchy and not sticky at all.

How to use it : Spray onto wet hair, scrunch with hands and let hair dry naturally. (You can also spray it onto dry hair to add more texture)

Scruff Me Disheveling Gelée ($23.50 CDN for 150ml)
This gel works as great as the Beach Waves spray to accentuates the natural waviness of my hair, but it gives less volume. It's a good thing if your hair is already thick though! I only apply one pump in my hair (I have long but fine hair), if I use 2 pumps it gets a bit crunchy.

How to use it : Apply onto towel-dried hair, scrunch with hands and leave to dry naturally.

Depolish Destructuring Paste ($23.50 CDN for 100ml)
I like using this paste to add even more texture and hold, but it's a thick and sticky paste which can be tricky to apply because my hair stick on my hands. I love the results, but it's not a must have for me. It's the only product I wouldn't buy again from this line, maybe my hair is too fine for this!

How to use it : Apply it on dry hair to create separation.

Crêpage de Chignon Mineral Powder Fixing Spray ($23.50 CDN for 200ml)
This spray does help to lift the roots and add volume! It doesn't feel heavy, sticky or anything like that, unlike some volumizing powders. This one is like an hybrid between a powder and an hairspray, so it gives a bit of hold too. I really need an haircut though (my hair feels pretty heavy at the moment) so I can't see the full effect on me (and you probably can't see a lot of volume in the pic either). It's a great product to use too when you want a voluminous ponytail. Be careful if you have dark hair like mine, it can look a bit powdery if you apply a lot.

How to use it : Apply at the roots and blow-dry creating root lift.

Next Day Hair Micro-Propelled Texturizing Powder ($23.50 CDN for 250ml)
This powder spray create a textured and tousled effect. This is a great product for fine hair because it adds texture without weighing down the hair! It's also awesome for updos, especially if you just washed your hair and it's TOO silky soft to do anything with it. It doesn't feel crunchy, sticky or rough.

How to use it : Apply on the mid-lengths and ends and brush it out using your fingers.
