Yves Rocher Sumptuous Color Quad Eyeshadow (03 Subtle Aquatic and 06 Incandescent Brown)

Yves Rocher recently launched their new range of Sumptuous Color Quad Eyeshadow! Available in 6 shades, these eyeshadow quads can be used wet or dry for endless customized options.

The light beige shade in both quads is more sparkly and less opaque than the other shades. The dark brown and the dark blue are matte and highly pigmented. All the other shades are shimmery but not glittery.

These eyeshadows feel very silky on the skin. When I tested them for the first time, I was disappointed because some of the colors looked chalky and sheer, but they look amazing when you apply them over a primer! Most of us already use a primer anyway so this isn't really a bad thing for me, and because the texture doesn't stick as much on the skin it also means that they are easier to blend! You can also use them wet, the dark shades are beautiful when worn as an eyeliner.

I don't know if they fade or crease because I only tested them over a primer, but they did last all day with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

06 Incandescent Brown :

I'm wearing Yves Rocher Quad Eyeshadow in 06 Incandescent Brown, Misencils DuoEyeliner, Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Extravagant Mascara and MAC Kohl Power in Feline.

They looked chalky when I swatched them on my hands for the first time, but over a primer they are truly beautiful! Incandescent Brown is a must have, I love brown eyeshadows!

The Yves Rocher Sumptuous Color Quad Eyeshadow retail for $20 CDN for 4.8g (4 x 1.2g).
