Lip Gloss in Nucleus and Mezmer ($31 CAD for 5ml)
I rarely wear lip gloss because most of them are way too sticky for me, I can't stand that feeling! So I was a bit hesitant to test these lip glosses, even if NARS claims that they are non-sticky. Well, they are very smooth and a lot less sticky than a MAC lipglass (these are sooo sticky)! They don't have any particular flavor or scent and they have great staying power for a lip gloss, they lasted a good 3 hours on me.
Nucleus is a light milky pink. It's not really a must have for me, I don't like to wear it on its own because it only give a sheer milky color and is not very flattering. However I do love to wear it over a pink or nude lipstick, such as MAC Please Me!
Mezmer is a lot less coral on my lips than in the tube, more fuchsia. I love how it looks on my lips, it's like an hybrid between a stain and a lipgloss. It gives a beautiful pop of color with a juicy finish, perfect for the summertime! LOVE!
Blush in Silent Nude ($35 CAD for 4.5g)
Silent Nude is a beige with a satin finish. It's pretty much matte on me, but it's not a flat matte (hence why I say it's a satin finish) and I don't see any shimmers. It has a lovely silky texture too!
Unfortunately it's too light for me at the moment, it doesn't show up on my skin! It's a beautiful warm rosy nude on lighter skin tones though (I tried it on my boyfriend's arm lol), it's more pink toned on the skin than in the pan! I'll keep it for next winter, when my skin will be much lighter. It's the perfect shade to wear with a smoky eye or dark lips!
