At first I was afraid that this palette would be way too cool toned for me, I usually prefer neutral or warm colors. This palette was a nice surprise because all the shades look good on me, they are very wearable and flattering! Four of these eyeshadows have a shimmery finish (but not highly frosty or glittery) and the other shades have a matte finish.
The texture is silky soft and they feel very lightweight on the skin compared to an eyeshadow with a more creamy and dense formula. They don't look chalky and I haven't noticed any patchiness.
These eyeshadows are much more pigmented when I use a primer, without it the color payoff was good but too sheer for my taste. With a primer, they are richly pigmented and buildable! Of course, some of you may prefer that sheer look if you like a 'no makeup' makeup look.
I have to admit that the price tag really surprised me though, I didn't expect such a high price for drugstore makeup, but I found it on sale a few times already so I'm sure you can get a good deal on it!
The L'Oréal La Palette Nude 2 retail for $29.99 CAD for 17.5g.
