The Heavy Metal glitter eyeliners are soooo pretty! I'll have to warn you before you scroll down though, my swatches don't do them any justice!

After more than 5 years of blogging, I still can't figure out how to properly photograph glitters. Urgghhh!

If you want to use them in place of your regular eyeliner, I would recommend to apply them over your favorite eyeliner because they aren't fully opaque. I prefer black, but you can play with different shades!

But if you know me well, you know that I rarely wear eyeliner. So instead of applying these glitters over eyeliner, I like to apply them with my fingertip over an eyeshadow. Be gentle though, because it can remove the eyeshadow. Also, the light shades are very pretty on the inner corner of the eyes, especially Pyro and Grind!

By the way, the only colors I don't have are Junkshow (a bright pink) and Amp (a light blue).

The glitters are suspended in a gel, and there's no need to shake the tube before each use. Some of the shades are colored glitters in a clear gel, while others have a slightly tinted base.

The best part is that the formula stays put, sometimes I find one or two glitters on my cheeks but that's about it. It doesn't flake off during the day, which is a very important point when it comes to glitter eyeliners.

So, what's your favorite shade?
