Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Extravagant Waterproof Mascara

If there's one makeup item I can't live without, it's a good waterproof mascara. Not because my eyes are always watery, but because these mascaras contain less water so they are wonderful for straight lashes that doesn't hold a curl well!

This formula is waaaay better for me than the original Smoky Extravagant mascara! It's not as heavy and hold a curl much better. It gives length and a bit of volume, but the lashes can look clumpy when you apply a second coat.  

The consistency is great, it's not too wet nor too dry. It doesn't flake and is very resistant to water. However, I noticed a bit of transfer on my brow bone due to my oily skin.

I noticed that I do not get as much excess product on the tip of the wand with the waterproof version (than the original formula) but I prefer small brushes. It's easy to apply too much with this one and when it happens your eyelashes start to clump together.

This is a good waterproof mascara for noticeably darker and longer eyelashes, but be careful with the brush, apply the mascara with a light hand or the eyelashes will clump together!
