Kérastase Curl Fever and Fix Fabulous

Kérastase's Couture Styling collection is getting bigger with the addition of 2 new products, just in time for the holiday season : Curl Fever, a curl shaping gel, and Fix Fabulous, a precise fixing spray.

Curl Fever Radiant Curl Shaping Gel ($38 for 150ml)
According to the directions on their website, you can use it on naturally curly hair to define curls and add shine OR you can also apply it on wet hair, blow dry your hair and then use your curling iron. Because my hair only has a slight wave, I chose the second method.

I noticed that my hair is more manageable and the curls seems to last longer, and my hair doesn't feel sticky or heavy. But to be honest, I still prefer my Kérastase Ciment Thermique blow dry milk. The Curl Fever shaping gel does help to make curls last longer, but the difference is minimal and it doesn't offer the same repairing and nourishing properties.

Fix Fabulous Precise Fixing Spray ($38 for 200ml)
I'm usually not a huge fan of non-aerosol fixing spray, but this one is different because it still delivers a fine mist. It dries quickly, doesn't feel sticky, doesn't flake off and smells really good, my boyfriend asked me a few times if I was wearing a new perfume! It gives a strong hold, so you might not like it if you want soft and touchable hair, but I personally prefer a strong hold so this is perfect for me.

If you want a super sleek updo, try to spray it on your hair then smooth it out with a boar bristle brush. Your hair will be super sleek but not crunchy and it won't budge!

(I received these products in order to evaluate them and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
