True Match Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminators, C301 and W101 ($16.99 CAD for 20ml)
C301 Ice is a very light frosty pink and W101 Golden is a frosty gold with yellow undertones. I love W101, it's a beautiful color for tan skin! C301 is too cool toned for me, but it will be gorgeous on fair skin. I don't see any glitters in these but the finish is very frosty, they can be too shimmery for everyday wear at the office. They are highly pigmented and the formula isn't oily or sticky.
If I compare them to other popular liquid illuminators (such as Nars, Benefit and Becca), the consistency is less creamy so it dries faster and the finish is less dewy. I prefer to apply them with a brush (the Real Technique Contour brush is great for this product), because they are a bit tricky to apply especially over a matte foundation or super dry skin. This formula has great staying power though, it sets on the skin and doesn't budge. You can even mix a drop with your foundation for a luminous effect!
Benefit High Beam is less frosty but much more dewy than C301 Ice. Rodial Instaglam Glow is a bit more frosty and much darker.
Benefit Sun Beam is less golden than W101 Golden and the finish is more dewy. Gerard Cosmetics BB Plus is less golden and much more dewy.
W102 Golden
N202 Rose
True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminators, N202 and W102 ($16.99 CAD for 9g)
N202 Rose is a light shimmery pinky beige and W102 Golden is a golden shimmery taupey beige. Both colors are gorgeous, but here's the deal : they contain micro glitters. Why oh why?! The formula itself is great, it last all day on me and it has great pigmentation. The W102 Golden shade would be so pretty without the micro glitters, it's a shame really!
That being said, a few years ago I bought some MAC Mineralize Skinfinish powders that were more glittery than usual, and although these weren't my favorites, I know many makeup addicts loved them. So you might like these True Match Lumi powders. It's a matter of taste, I guess!
Please note that the micro glitters aren't really noticeable in this photo.
Make Up For Ever Sculpting Duo in #01 is slightly more pink and metallic than N202 Rose. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer has gold undertones and is more opaque.
MAC Superb is darker and has a metallic sheen compared to W102 Golden. Bobbi Brown Beige is lighter.
(I received these products in order to evaluate them and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
Hello, i like very much all those colors and the way to use blush very luminous effect that we don't have in France.
