I'm not sure if I already told you, but one of my all time favorites concealers is NARS' Radiant Creamy Concealer! Needless to say that I was very curious to try their new Soft Matte complete concealer, a thicker cream concealer that is said to conceal, blur and smooth imperfections thanks to its soft-focus finish.

Enriched with hyaluronic acid and peptides, the Soft Matte complete concealer is supposed to hydrate and plump the skin while reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
This oil-free formula is very creamy, it doesn't need to be warmed up between your fingers first! It doesn't feel greasy on the skin though, it dries down to a silky finish (but not powdery).
Vanilla (Light 2) is a light beige with pink undertones. This color is similar to NW20 and the undertones are cooler.
Cannelle (Light 2.75) is a beige with golden peach undertones. Cannelle is similar to NW25 and slightly more orange than Custard.
Honey (Light 3) is a warm beige with peachy pink undertones. Honey is slightly darker than NW30.
Custard (Medium 1) is a beige with golden beige undertones. This shade is a bit darker than NW25, it's a bit more beige and darker than the shade Cannelle.
I usually mix Vanilla and Custard when I use the Radiant Creamy concealer, but the Soft Matte shades run darker. I would need a shade similar to Vanilla but a bit warmer to neutralize my dark under eye circles. Maybe I should try Creme Brulee?
As you can see on this photo, it has a satin matte finish and the coverage is pretty good but it's not full coverage enough to conceal my dark under eye circles. It's a very lightweight concealer and it looks like skin!
I noticed a bit of creasing even if I set it with a powder. In fact, I prefer the finish without setting it with a powder and it doesn't really change the staying power anyway.
It's a nice easy-to-work-with concealer, for those days that I want to look less tired without wearing a full face of makeup. That's the only concealer I can wear without a setting powder too. And it's good for spot concealing!
But if I have more free time on my hands and want full coverage with a brightening effect, nothing beats my NARS Radiant Creamy concealer!
The NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer retails for $38 CAD for 6.2g and is available at sephora.com and narscosmetics.com.

Love the super-natural finish of these! Though I often gravitate towards fuller coverage concealers as well. Will have to check these out in store!
