Buxom Va-Va-Plump Liquid Lipsticks | Tropicolor Tease Collection

Buxom launched their new Va-Va-Plump Shiny Liquid Lipsticks earlier this year, but did you know that they came out with 4 new tropical shades recently? Formulated with high tech polymers and silicon elastomers, these liquid lipsticks are very creamy and provide intense color payoff. I'm a huge fan of the Va-Va-Plump lipsticks! The nude shades are gorgeous, I wear Taupe It Off and Honey Do all the time.

The formula feels a bit thick but it's still very comfortable on the lips, it doesn't feel sticky at all and doesn't dry out my lips. It doesn't dry down to a matte finish and it's not transfer-proof, but the staying power is surprisingly good.

These lipsticks are very pigmented too! The shade Heat Wave is a bit streaky, but the other 3 colors are very opaque. I noticed that the shade Heat Wave has a weird plastic smell, but maybe I got a bad batch?

It doesn't really plump my lips, but I don't mind because I love the formula so much! And I love the slight cooling feeling!

By the way, I compared the 4 new shades to all the other shades I already have (15), and none of them are similar. (in case you were wondering)

Guava Kiss is a bright pink with a slightly glossy cream finish.

Heat Wave is a vibrant orange with a slightly glossy cream finish.

Paradise Found is a hot coral pinky red with a slightly glossy cream finish.

Deep Dive is a pinky plum with a slightly glossy cream finish.
