LaLicious Sugar Soufflé Scrub in Passionfruit Lime

I can't remember if I already told you, but I'm addicted to body scrubs! (and luminizer, blushes, lipsticks too.. but that's another story!) I'm always on the look out for the perfect texture that will make my skin feel smooth like a baby's butt. I always prefered the foamy formulas, but in the winter months my skin need a little help, so I bought the Lalicious one because it seemed to be very moisturizing and I was curious to try these delicious fragrances.

LaLicious Sugar Soufflé Scrub in Passionfruit Lime - Review

The LaLicious Sugar Soufflé Scrub is a moisturizing body scrub that mainly contain coconut oil and sugar. Since it doesn't contain emulsifying ingredients, the oil doesn't rinse off and stay on the skin, which make it a very moisturizing body scrub. A couple of years ago, I would have told you that I can't stand the oiliness, but since my skin is much drier this winter I prefer to use a very moisturizing scrub instead of the foamy ones I used to buy. This body scrub is exactly what I was looking for!

It leaves a very oily residue on the skin, which takes a good 30 minutes to sink in. It's so moiturizing that I don't even need to use it as often now!

What I really liked about this product is that the texture is very creamy and the oil never separate from the sugar. You don't need to mix it before each use and the oil never drip between your fingers. Did you ever get that problem with oil based scrub, when the oil leak on the side of the container even if it's closed? It never happens with this one!

If you are a self-tanner addict like me, this is not a good body scrub to use right before your tanning session because your tan can be patchy. But it's really good to remove your tan build up!

Passionfruit Lime smell really good straigth from the jar, it's a delightful blend of passionfruit and lime. However, the odor change while I'm using it and it appears to loose all the sweetness of the passionfruit. I like Coconut Cream much better!

Ingredients :
Cane Sugar, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Essential and Fragrance Oils, Vitamin E Oil, Soybean Oil, Honey.

I'm in love with that body scrub, it's amazing to get rid of my very dry skin, but I wouldn't recommend it to those who can't stand oily products! I wouldn't use it in the summer months, but my skin wouldn't need it anyway. It's pricey but the pot is huge and it's really worth the price!

The LaLicious Sugar Soufflé Scrub retail for $35 CDN for 470g (16oz) and is available at The Bay and Well.ca.
