Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Blush in 01 Peach

In addition to the Opalescence collection, Clarins is introducing a new cream blush line which includes 4 shades : 01 Peach, 02 Candy, 03 Grenadine and 04 Rosewood. I've been loving cream to powder blushes lately, and this one is no exception. They blends easily and doesn't leave a greasy film on the cheeks, they are great for any skin types!

The shade 01 Peach is a pale peachy coral pink with a glowy finish. It does contain very fine shimmers but overall it gives a beautiful lit-from-within glow (thanks to the Light-Optimizing Complex!). Peach isn't highly pigmented but still buildable, which means that it will work great for fair to medium skintones (but check out Grenadine instead, if you are darker than that).

Sheer isn't always a bad thing in the beauty world, while I do love my bright and highly pigmented blushes too, I just find that sheer blushes are easier to work with. Clarins Multi-Blush blends easily and isn't greasy at all. And good news if you are sensitive to fragrance, this blush has no scent whatsoever!

I'm NC35 at the moment and it showed just fine on my cheeks, but I did need to add more product. Oh and I prefer to apply it with my fingers. By the way, I'm also wearing the new Clarins Gloss Prodige in Coral Tulip, they are so pretty together!

The staying power is quite good, but blushes usually last a longer time on me during winter because my makeup is less prone to melt off.

This shade is sooooo pretty and I can't rave enough about the glow it gives my cheeks! The only downside is that you are supposed to be able to use it on the lips too, but this shade is too sheer for this purpose.

The Clarins Multi-Blush Cream Blush in 01 Peach retail for $30 CDN for 4g.
