Pupa Milano will be launching a new powder foundation in September : Extreme Matt! A blend of pigments and minerals powders provides an anti-shine effect and natural looking coverage. This foundation is suitable for normal to combination-oily skin types.

The finish is very matte, but it start to get oily after 2 hours. On me, it's not more mattifying than using a liquid foundation (or BB cream) with a loose powder to set it.
To give you a better idea of how mattifying this powder is, it did mattify my skin a bit more than MAC Studio Fix powder foundation. But it's not enough for me, I guess I was expecting a miracle from a product called 'Extreme Matt'! ;)
The texture is nice though, it's silky and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. The coverage is light to medium, so it even out my skin tone but I need a concealer to cover any blemishes I may have.
Extreme Matt is available in 12 shades, but only 4 colors will be sold in Canada. I own the shade 020 Light Beige, which is similar to NW25 in MAC foundations. As you can see, this shade is too peachy-pink for me. It's usually not a problem with liquid foundations, because I can simply add a drop of green corrector when it's too pinky for me, but I can't do that with a powder.
I'm still looking for the perfect powder foundation that will stay matte all day, but I think my skin is too oily anyway. This foundation would work best for combination skin, it would be more effective. If your skin is oily like mine, what's your favorite powder foundation?
The Pupa Extreme Matt Natural Matt Effect Compact Powder Foundation retail for $32 CDN for 11g.
