This product can be used as an eyeliner, eyeshadow or a primer. It works best as an eyeliner though because the texture dry quite fast and can be very difficult to blend, especially the black. I tried twice to use it (Jet) as a cream eyeshadow to create a very dark smoky eye but I just couldn't blend it properly (or maybe I just don't have the skills). The green (Emerald) and the dark silver (Gunmetal) are easier to work with if you want to wear them as eyeshadows. You do need to work very fast though!
Jet, Emerald and Gunmetal
The color payoff is excellent, the black is super black and the shimmery shades are highly pigmented! The formula isn't very creamy but it glides easily on the lid and is quite easy to work with. In fact, I think it's the slightly less creamy formula that really helps to give it that super opaque color.
Also, the staying power is very impressive. I couldn't even remove the swatches on my arm with soap and water, no matter how hard I scrubbed. The Waterproof Crème Colors are waterproof, they don't budge, crease, smudge or flake off! But don't worry, it easily comes off with any oil based makeup remover!
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Crème Color retail for $23 CAD for 4g.
