L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Cleansers Review Swatches

I love the idea behind these clay-to-mousse cleansers, I love clay masks but I don't always have the time to use them.

They are less potent than a clay mask, but it's a great way to get a bit of the clay benefits every day if you are always in a hurry!

L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Purfiying Mattifying Cleanser Ingredients

L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Purfiying Mattifying Cleanser

The Pure-Clay Purifying & Mattifying Cleanser contains Eucalyptus extract, which promote faster healing and treat skin infections.

It has a nice consistency, super smooth and creamy. It lathers up nicely too. I love it, it cleanses my skin without drying it out!

I noticed that it contains salicylic acid too, and my acne-prone skin has always loved that ingredient so it's a good addition to this product.

L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Energizing Brightening Cleanser Ingredients

L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Energizing Brightening Cleanser

Next up is my least favorite out of the three formulas. The Pure-Clay Energizing & Brightening Cleanser contains charcoal, an ingredient known for its purifying and brightening properties.

This one is thicker than the two other cleansers, and it lathers more generously. I only used it three times and it dried my skin out, which wasn't the case with the Purifying & Mattifying formula.

And my skin is super oily, so I don't think this would be suitable for dry and/or sensitive skin types.

L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Exfoliating Refining Cleanser Ingredients

L'Oreal Paris Pure-Clay Exfoliating Refining Cleanser

Last but not least, the Pure-Clay Exfoliating & Refining Cleanser is formulated with Red Algae Extract and perlite (volcanic rocks) to get rid of dead skin cells.

I love this one, it leaves my skin feeling so soft! I wouldn't recommend to use it daily though, as too much exfoliation isn't a good thing. I use it 2-3 times weekly, and it's more than enough.

It's a lovely product!
