Nuxe's famous Huile Prodigieuse Or comes in a new limited edition packaging this summer! This multi-purpose shimmery oil contain 6 precious oils (Camellia, Borage, Hazelnut, St. John's Wort, Macadamia and Sweet Almond) and can be used on the face, body and hair.

The texture is oilier than silicons based dry oils, but less heavy than rubbing straight oils on your skin. It can also depends of your skin type, my legs are usually drier than my arms and will absorb this oil much faster! Just remember that a little goes a long way, it can be greasy if you apply too much. The scent is lovely, it smells a lot like monoï oil!
This multi-purpose oil contain some tiny gold flecks to add a beautiful sparkly effect. I love the shimmery finish it leaves on my skin, especially on my legs! I only tried it on my body though because I don't like seeing random gold particles in my hair and on my face, but yes, you can if you want to! Be aware though, that this product doesn't add any color to the skin nor cover imperfections (spider veins, cuts, scars, etc.) you might have. If you need light coverage, try mixing it with a tiny amount of BB Cream, that's what I do because my skin is so thin you can see the veins through it.
The best thing about this oil is how the golden particles stick to the skin! You might find some of them on your clothes at the end of the day, but it really stick well to the skin and when I applied it on my arm for this photo, I had to wash it twice to remove all the micro glitters. By the way, it's more sparkly in real life than in the photo below!

I wouldn't use it everyday so it's not a necessity for me, but if you like to add some sparkles on your skin for special occasions, this is a good product!

This is really interesting, love the concept behind it and sounds like a great product to have for dressier events like you said! :)
ReplyDeleteI think they have small bottles too, in case you want to use it only for dressier events!

ReplyDeleteBisous
As-tu la version régulière ou pailletée?
DeleteThis packaging is too cute! I'm not a big fan of having shimmer on my legs (they're very, very pale, and I don't fake tan), but I love the idea of a shimmering dry oil to pull sparingly through my hair ;) I'll have to keep an eye out for this one & give it a sniff!
ReplyDeleteHumm yeah it does look better on tan skin, I'm not a huge fan of shimmers on my body when I don't use a self tanner. Let me know if you like the scent!
