The Body Shop Body Sorbets (Strawberry, Mango, Satsuma)

I'm totally obsessed with The Body Shop lately, and everytime I receive an order and fall in love with a new scent, I have a hard time restraining myself from purchasing the whole collection! They released a brand new product this month which I think is pretty cool! Available in 5 scents, the Body Sorbets are made with Community Fair Trade Aloe Vera and melts on the skin thanks to the breakthrough sorbet texture.

These Body Sorbets have a thick creamy gel consistency. They have a cooling effect for a minute or two and are slightly sticky for a few minutes, but never oily. They aren't super moisturizing, but for the summertime I think it's just perfect!

Strawberry, Mango and Satsuma all have a candied fruity scent. Of course they have a different scent and I won't describe them to you because I think it's obvious that Strawberry smells like strawberries, Mango like mangoes... you get the idea! I would say though that Strawberry is the sweetest, Satsuma is more fresh and juicy, and Mango is more subtle. My favorite is Strawberry, it smells SO good and the scent last longer on my skin!

They also use differents oils for each of them, so you will find some cold-pressed strawberry seed oil in the Strawberry Body Sorbet, cold-pressed satsuma oil in Satsuma, and mango seed oil in Mango. But it doesn't change the texture, they all feel the same to me. Here's the ingredient list for the Mango Body Sorbet, I'm not going to write it down for all of them because it's basically the same.

Ingredients : Aqua/Water/Eau, PEG-8, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Isododecane, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Acrylates Crosspolymer-2, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrogenated Tetradecenyl/Methylpentadecene, Parfum/Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, Mel/Honey/Miel, Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil/Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Mangifera Indica Seed Oil/Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Oil, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzophenone-3, Xanthan Gum, Limonene, Linalool, Disodium EDTA, Silica, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citronellol, Benzyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, CI 15985/Yellow 6.

It's an interesting product, I've never seen a texture like that! If you are looking for a fruity scented body moisturizer that doesn't feel too heavy for the summertime, definitely check it out!

The Body Shop's Body Sorbet retail for $15 CDN for 200ml.

(I received one of these products in order to evaluate it and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
