TheBalm Appétit Eyeshadow Palette

Can you believe I've never tried TheBalm eyeshadows before? Crazy I know, considering the fact that I already own (and love) many TheBalm products! The TheBalm Appétit Palette features 9 matte and shimmery eyeshadows in flattering colors.

I've been using this palette for nearly two weeks and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! All the shades blend out beautifully (even the matte colors) and I haven't noticed any fallouts.

The frosty and metallic shades (Tate R. Tots, Rocky Road-Icecream, Chris P. Bacon) are buttery smooth and highly pigmented even without a primer. The formula on these three eyeshadows is fabulous! The six other shades tend to be a bit dusty and less pigmented, but the color payoff is excellent with a primer. I always use an eyeshadow primer anyway so that's not a problem for me!

The colors are beautiful, I love the mix of mattes and shimmers! And don't you just love the funny names? I have to admit that I giggled quite a bit when I saw Chris P. Bacon! lol

Mac Encheese and Ray Sinbread are great transition shades, and I can't get enough of Tate R. Tots and Rocky Road-Icecream! Chris P. Bacon has such a beautiful finish and formula too! Bruce Schetta is your typical boring matte beige shade, but always a nice addition to any eyeshadow palette. Artie Chokedip is my least favorite shade, simply because I rarely wear bluish grey on my eyes. I like to wear Alfred O'Pasta on the upper lashline or use it to add some depth to any eye look.

  4. ooooh that middle row. I have seen this shared a few times and wondered why they would make the shadows in letter shapes so good to know its just an overlay and they are regular shaped
