BareMinerals Invisible Glow & Invisible Bronze Powders

Summer is just around the corner, and who says summer says tan and luminous skin. But there's no need to roast your skin under the harsh uv rays when there's so many good bronzing powders and highlighters out there! Well, bareMinerals has launched four new bronzers and four new highlighters recently, and I fell head over heels for one of them!

Let's start off with the Invisible Glow Powder Highlighter. I have the shade 'Tan', a golden peach with a luminous finish.

It looks a bit sparkly when I swatch it on my hand, but the shimmers are less noticeable on my face when I buff the product into my skin. It leaves a pretty sheen on my cheeks! If you prefer an intense highlight though, this powder isn't for you.

With that being said, this color is too dark for me at the moment (I need to start using selft tanner again!). And while the color is quite translucent, it can leave a bit of an orange cast on my pale winter skin. The shade 'Tan' would work best on tan skin tones (I know I'm saying the obvious here, but it is what it is).

Next up is the Invisible Bronze Powder Bronzer, and I loooooove it! The shade I have is 'Tan', a cool brown with subtle pink undertones. It's so perfect!

The finish is slightly luminous, not shimmery or glittery. It's sheer, but pigmented and buildable. The color isn't orange, but not muddy either. And because the formula is a bit powdery (without looking chalky), it's easy to blend and doesn't look streaky. I'm in love!

Oh and in case you were wondering, the color is cooler than Too Faced Matte Bronzing Powder in Chocolate Soleil and Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion in 20M. Compared to NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna, the finish is much less shimmery and the color is darker. It can get as dark as TheBalm Bronzer in Bahama Mama if I apply more product, but the bareMinerals bronzer has some subtle pink undertones that the TheBalm bronzer doesn't have.

It's everything I wanted the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzers to be, need I say more?
