Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils (4 new shades!)

Good news if you love Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils : The brand recently added 4 new shades to the range! Enriched with organic jojoba and hazelnut oils, these lipbalms are specifically formulated to nourish and soothe the lips.

Each shade has its star ingredient and a different scent:

04 Candy contains organic amaranth oil and has a sweet berry scent.

05 Tangerine is formulated with organic buriti oil and smells like gummy bears.

06 Mint contains field mint and has a vanilla mint scent.

07 Honey Glam is enriched with hazelnut oil and smells like honey and vanilla.

The shades 04 Candy and 05 Tangerine react to the pH of the skin. On me, 04 Candy is a sheer cool-toned pink and  05 Tangerine is a sheer orange. Both shades leave a subtle pink stain on my lips if I wipe off the product with a tissue.

06 Mint doesn't add any color to the lips, but I like the cooling effect of menthol!

07 Honey Glam is the only shade that contains tiny glitters. It feels a bit gritty on the lips, especially as the product wears off.

All shades are very sheer though, so don't expect crazy color payoff from them! (hence why I didn't swatch them on my lips)

I only got these four new shades a week ago, but I was already familiar with this product (I already own the shade 03 Red Berry).

The gel-oil consistency feels amazing on the lips, it's very smooth and nourishing. It's thicker than you may expect, more akin to a lipgloss than a oil. In fact, it doesn't really feel oily but it's a tiny bit sticky (not too much though, otherwise I wouldn't love it as much as I do!).

These lip oils have a very glossy finish and moisturize like no other! I put them on at night too and wake up with plump and soft lips.

I love them, especially the shades 04 Candy and 06 Mint!
