SOS Comfort (dry skin).

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Face Mask Review

Clarins SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Face Mask Swatch

Formulated with alpine willow extract, the SOS Pure rebalancing clay mask is suitable for oily and combination skin types. The formula is supposed to be non-drying, and it's true! I love clay masks, but I usually only use them in the summer because they are too drying. My skin doesn't feel tight while the SOS Pure mask is on, it stays creamy. When I rinse it off, my skin feels fresh and purified, but not dehydrated. I'm surprised!

I noticed that my skin is less oily too, which is a nice bonus. With that being said, it doesn't have the same deep cleaning effect than other clay masks.

Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Face Mask Review

Clarins SOS Hydra Refreshing Hydration Face Mask Swatch

Next up is the SOS Hydra refreshing hydrating mask, and let me tell you.. it's amazing! Enriched with leaf of life extract and hyaluronic acid, this mask hydrate deeply and replump the skin.

It was included in my Clarins Advent Calendar, so I've been using it for quite a while now. I have oily but very dehydrated skin, and this mask is perfect for me. My skin is very smooth, hydrated and supple! It's a winter must have!

Clarins SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Face Mask Review

Clarins SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Face Mask Swatch

If your skin is very dry, you will love the SOS Comfort nourishing balm mask! This mask contains wild mango butter, and the formula is thick and buttery.

What's the difference between this one and the SOS Hydra? The SOS Comfort mask is for dry skin (lacks oil), while the SOS Hydra mask is for dehydrated skin (lacks water). The SOS Comfort mask is more nourishing and leaves a slightly oily residue on the skin, while the SOS Hydra mask hydrate and plump the skin.

I love both, much to my surprise! But if I had to choose, I would go with the SOS Hydra for my skin type. My boyfriend has dry skin and love both too, but he prefer the SOS Comfort!
