As you may know already, NARS came out with a new highlighting powder collection! Available in 6 shades, these highlighters accentuate skin with buildable radiance and are suitable for all skin types. The silky and lightweight formula is said to blend effortlessly into the skin!

The NARS Highlighting Powders have a beautiful finish, they are shimmery but not glittery! I find that the finish is more intense if I apply the product over foundation, the effect is more subtle on bare skin.
If I want a metallic finish, I apply it after I've set my makeup with my setting spray!
The formula is silky smooth and feels lightweight on the skin, it doesn't have a heavy silicone feel.
I could only test Capri and Fort de France because St. Barths was too dark for my skin tone, but these two shades lasted all day on me (more than 9 hours)!
Capri is a light pinky beige with a shimmery finish.
Fort de France is a golden champagne with a shimmery finish.
St. Barths is a golden copper with a shimmery finish.
I'm currently wearing fake tan so my skin is darker than usual (NC30), and the shades Capri and Fort de France are very similar on me. Capri is slightly cooler and lighter than Fort de France but I can barely tell the difference, unless I really pack it on.
The NARS Highlighting Powders retail for $50 CAD for 14g and are available at Sephora.

ReplyDeleteThe fair side is similar to NC15! I can use both shade even when I'm not wearing fake tan, it's not too dark! I think you would prefer the shade Fort de France, is it too late to exchange it?
