Enriched with antioxidant-rich berry seed oils (raspberry, blackcurrant) and sea lavender, the BarePro concealer hydrates the skin and helps defend against free radical damage.
The formula is very creamy but doesn't look oily on the skin, I would say that it has a semi-matte finish. It's easy to blend if I apply it over moisturized bare skin or a dewy foundation, but I need to blend it immediately if I use a matte foundation.
I find that it looks best if I apply it directly from the tube and gently pat it with my fingers to blend it out. I like the stick format, it's easier to use and more practical than a pot concealer!
The coverage is medium but buildable to full. However, it looks more natural if I apply a thin layer to achieve medium coverage.
When I apply more product to cover a tattoo, for example, the concealer is very noticeable on the skin. For regular spot concealing though, it looks quite natural.

Because my under eye circles are very dark, I always prefer full coverage concealers. Full coverage can be achieved with the BarePro concealer, but applying a thick layer of this product under my eyes isn't a good idea. It looks great at first, but it looks cakey and dry after a few hours. It accentuates fine lines and creases badly, my eyes look years older at the end of the day!
I tried with two different eye creams, and without any cream, but it doesn't help. If I don't apply a bit of powder to set it, it creases in a matter of minutes, so it's not an option either. It doesn't crease as much if I apply a thin layer, but it doesn't cover my dark circles completely if I do that.
I'm
wearing BareMinerals' BarePro Concealer in 01 and 05 (without powder) and Esqido's Unisyn Lashes in Heart & Soul (Use code kristelles for an additional 15% off)
With that being said, I love it for spot concealing! If I set it with a bit of loose powder, it lasts for up to 8 hours.
Also, it's great for touch-ups during the day! The tube is very small and lightweight, so it fits easily in any handbag. I can apply it over my makeup and it doesn't look like a cakey mess.
01 Fair-Cool is slightly lighter than NW15 and has pink undertones.
03 Fair/Light Neutral is a bit darker than NW20 and has neutral, slightly pink undertones.
05 Light/Medium Neutral is a tad darker than NW20 and has pink undertones.
09 Tan-Warm is slightly darker than NC35 and has golden peach undertones.
10 Tan-Neutral is similar to NC30 and has yellow undertones.
11 Tan/Dark Warm is a bit darker than NW40 and has pink undertones.
Bottom line is, I love it for touch-ups and spot concealing but I wouldn't recommend it for the under eye area, unless you are younger than me and only need light to medium coverage.
The BareMinerals BarePRO 16-HR Full Coverage Concealer retails for $30 CAD for 2.5g and is available at Sephora.
