L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation N3.5 Ingredients

This liquid foundation comes in a compact, when you open it up there's a puff and a sponge soaked in foundation. I have the shade N3.5 Classic Buff and it's a really good match for my golden-olive skin tone (it's not too pink, yay!). If you are familiar with MAC foundations, N3.5 is similar to NC30.

Good news if you have sensitive skin, this foundation is fragrance free!

The coverage is light to medium (buildable), it evens out my complexion but doesn't completely cover major imperfections. I really like the luminous finish and the formula, it doesn't feel heavy or oily on the skin even if the consistency is quite thick and creamy! Oh and it's great for quick touch-ups too, it doesn't look patchy or cakey even if I apply it over my makeup!

Beside, my skin is very oily but I like to have a luminous complexion. The L'Oréal True Match Lumi Cushion is perfect for achieving the dewy skin look if your skin is oily like mine! The trick is to use a mattifying primer and set it with some loose powder on the T-zone. You might not like this foundation if your skin is very dry though, since it has a tendency to cling to dry patches and the formula isn't very nourishing either.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD and NARS All Day Luminous foundations are much more matte and give more coverage. This L'Oréal foundation is less dewy than Clarins True Radiance and MAC Studio Waterweight foundations, though.

The only downside for me is the price, $30 CAD for a drugstore foundation is getting a little too highly priced. That being said, you can always wait for a sale!

The L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation retail for $29.99 CAD for 14.6g and is available at Ulta and Amazon.

  1. Wow! It really looks like skin! You are right, it is quite pricey but look at your skin, it looks like actual flawless skin!

  2. $30 CAD??? Really? I was wondering about this foundation, but Lancome refil costs about $38 (I was hoping the L'oreal one is a dupe for the Lancome). Periodically London Drugs has buy 2 get 3rd for free, but I guess this will be an exception.

  3. I saw it at $24.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart, and it's 20% off this week. But ya, Loreal is always soo expensive in Canada.
