February Favorites 2018 Skincare Makeup Beauty

NARS Highlighting Blush in Free Soul ($38 CAD, click here to buy it)
The formula is super smooth and almost creamy to the touch. I love the finish, frosty but not glittery! Free Soul is a beautiful luminous blush for fair skin tones, and a pretty highlighter for medium to dark complexions. And it last all day on me!

TheBalm Take Home The Bronze Bronzers ($17.50 US, click here to buy them)
Available in three shades, these new bronzing powders can be used as bronzers or contour powders. I love the matte finish and the colors are perfect, especially Oskar and Graham E! All the shades are nicely pigmented and the colors are buildable.

Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Liquid Colour Balms ($39 CAD, click here to buy them)
The formula is unique, it's a completely different sensory experience! The texture is thin and it feels like my skin is wet. It smooths my lips instantly and has a beautiful dewy finish, but it doesn't feel thick or sticky!

Cover FX Shimmer Veils ($34 CAD, click here to buy them)
The finish is gorgeous, very glittery with a metallic sheen! The product is highly pigmented and
the cream formula dries fast on the skin, once it sets it doesn't budge or crease into fine lines. The formula can be a bit fussy to work with, but I love them!

NARS Lip Cover Liquid Lipsticks ($33 CAD, click here to buy them)
These new lipsticks are available in 4 shades, but my favorites are Summer Fire and Hell Gate! Hell Gate is a beautiful red with a super creamy formula, while Summer Fire is a shimmery pink. The pink shade is a bit dry, but perfect with a bit of lip balm. Both shades are very pigmented!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25HR Breathable Foundation ($11.99 CAD, click here to buy it)
This foundation has a semi-matte finish and the coverage is sheer, but buildable to medium. It holds up incredibly well on my super oily skin! I set it with a bit of loose powder, and it wears well for up to 12 hours without separating or sinking into fine lines! How's that for a $12 foundation?!

  1. Ive been tempted to pick up the Rimmel foundation, just haven't done it yet! I have been hearing a lot of good things about it. Good to see that they finally released more shades of the Nars Lip Cover, I have one in 'Get Dirty' and love it.
