Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 18 Violine Strass

Matte lipsticks are everywhere these days (I'm not complaining!) but it might not be everyone's favorite finish and a good glossy plum shade is hard to find. Violine Strass is one of the 12 Rouge Edition shades, a beautiful colour for this season! Its formula is enriched with 1/4 of pure laque for a glossy finish, and an orchid blossom extract to keeps the lips smooth and hydrated for up to 10 hours.

Violine Strass is a plum with a glossy finish. It has tiny golden sparkles but once applied on the lips, I can't really see them. The color payoff is excellent, even if it's not fully opaque.

It glides on the lips like butter, it's so smooth, moisturizing and lightweight! However, that kind of texture doesn't have the best staying power, I get 3 hours of wear if I don't drink or eat anything. But the good thing about this lipstick is that although it's very creamy, I was surprised to find out that it didn't feather at all during the day!

This lipstick is moisturizing and have a glossy finish, it would be a good choice for those who want to wear the plum lips trend but prefer a creamy formula!

The Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 18 Violine Strass retail for $20 CDN for 3.5g.
