Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel

Did you know that oily skin types can be dehydrated too? The T-zone is shiny, but the skin is dry and flaky on certain areas.  You'll need something that will hydrate your skin wihout clogging your pores or being too greasy. Clarins got exactly what you need, a moisturizing gel for normal to combination skin!

Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel contain hyaluronic acid and extracts of katafray, alpine willow herb, and pomegranate. These ingredients help ensure optimal hydration and promote a fresh and matte appearance.

The texture is to die for, it melt on the skin and sink in very fast. When I used it for the first time, I knew this would become one of my skincare staples! This gel doesn't leave any oily or sticky residue on the skin, and the smell is lovely. (I can't stop myself from taking a whiff here and there everytime I open the pot)

With such a lightweight formula, you would think that it wouldn't do the job, but it does and very effectively too! It moisturize deeply, I can even use this instead of my Vichy Aqualia Thermal serum, which used to be my holy grail in term of moisturizers. I noticed that I don't even need to use it as often after 2 weeks of use!

The only downside is that I haven't seen any mattifying properties and my pores aren't less noticeable.  My skin isn't more oily when I use it, but I still need to apply a fine layer of my favorite matifying fluid because it doesn't have good mattifying properties.

I love everything about this product : Its lovely scent, texture and moisturizing properties can't be better. My skin is soft, moisturized deeply and all this, without being too greasy!

The Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Gel retail for $49.50 CDN for 50ml.
