It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination

Formulated with peptides, hydrolyzed collagen and anti-oxidants, It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination offers full coverage and add a candlelight glow to the complexion. It also contain hyaluronic acid, aloe and silk and aloe (just to name a few), which help leave your skin fresh and hydrated.

I bought Light, which should be a good match if your shade in MAC foundations is NW20/NC25. This foundation powder offers full coverage and a soft pearly finish. I usually add some concealer on my nostrils to cover the redness, but it has such good coverage that I didn't need it!

Sadly, my pores are more noticeable with this product and it feels heavy on my face. I know it looks pretty amazing in photos, but in real life it looks too heavy for me. I have to admit though that for a full coverage foundation, the finish is beautiful.

By the way, the Double Airbrush Foundation Brush that came with this foundation doesn't work well, I had better luck with the Airbrush Heavenly Luxe Buffing Foundation Brush.

Before and after (NO concealer, only the It Cosmetics Feel The Moment Primer Serum and Celebration Foundation Illumination) :

Ingredients : Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Lauroyl Lysine, Zinc Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Silica, Water, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract, Punica Granatum Extract, Vitis Vinifera Grape Seed Extract, Chamomilla Recutita Matricaria Flower Extract, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Rosa Canina Flower Extract, Olea Europaea Olive Fruit Extract, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Silk Powder, Niacinamide, Retinyl Palmitate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Hyaluronic Acid, Cholesteryl Oleyl Carbonate, Cholesteryl Nonanoate, Cholesteryl Chloride, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Polysorbate 20.

The ingredient list is identical to the original Celebration foundation, but the finish is different. Celebration Foundation Illumination has a pearly finish, while the original formula is matte. I do prefer the original Celebration Foundation because it looks less heavy, but it's not one of my favorites foundations either.

Available in 5 shades:

I love It Cosmetics, but this foundation didn't work for me. The coverage is crazy good and it looks great in photos, but I didn't like that it accentued my pores.

The It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination retail for $35 CDN for 9g.
