Guerlain Gloss d'Enfer Maxi Shine Lipgloss in 920 Rouge Parade and 901 L'Oiseau de Feu

A few weeks ago, Guerlain has launched their new Holiday collection : A Night at the Opera. I tried a few products from the collection, so stay tuned if you love Guerlain because I have a few more reviews coming your way! Let's start with the Gloss d'Enfer Maxi Shine Lipglosses in 920 Rouge Parade and 901 L'Oiseau de Feu, which are both limited edition shades.

920 Rouge Parade is a dark red with cool undertones. It is surprisingly pigmented for a lipgloss, it's not completely opaque but it gives a really good color payoff!

The texture is awesome, it's not sticky and feels very smooth on the lips! If all lipglosses were like this one I would wear glosses more often, seriously this is the less tacky lipgloss I have ever tried. It lasted a good 4 hours on me, which also surprised me because it's so lightweight.

I highly recommend it if you don't like sticky lipglosses! (and I think I need more shades now *sigh*)

901 L'Oiseau de Feu is a clear top coat with gold sparkles. It's SO pretty in the tube, but sadly it looks like a clear lipgloss on my lips. Such a bummer!

I also noticed that the formula is quite different for this shade, it's less silky smooth and more sticky. I even compared the ingredient list and it's a completely different product. Despite the fact that the gold sparkles aren't noticeable on my lips, I would have loved to finally find a good clear lipgloss that isn't sticky.

The Guerlain Gloss d'Enfer Maxi Shine Lipgloss retail for $33 CAD for 7.5ml.

(I received this product in order to evaluate it and give my opinion, but rest assured that my comments are always honest and impartial.)
