Adaptasun Tanning Spray 'Extreme Sun' ($69 CAD for 150ml)
Institut Esthederm sun products works differently from other sunscreens, it doesn't have the usual SPF rating and they promote safe sun-tanning, which means that you slowly get tan over time without burning. I used it a few times and didn't burn, in fact my skin didn't even turn red and I got a nice tan after a few days. Usually my skin don't burn with a good sunscreen, but I don't tan like I did with the Adaptasun spray! I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is very sensitive to sunlight though.
This lotion is very thin and it smells great! It's a bit greasy, but I didn't feel the urge to wash it off at night. I do prefer the Sun Bronz Dry Oil though!
Sun Bronz Dry Oil Care '3 Suns' ($69 CAD for 150ml)
Oh my god, this dry oil is awesome!! It has a slightly oily texture (like a dry oil) but it sink into the skin pretty fast, it's not sticky at all. It smells so good too, seriously! It doesn't smell like your typical sunscreen.
I had the same results than I did with the Adaptasun Spray, my skin didn't burn and I got a nice golden tan. Yes it's expensive, but if you are like me and can't stand the texture or smell of other sunscreens, it's well worth the money.
Sun Sheen Intense Tan Self-Tanning Body Jelly ($49 CAD for 150ml)
The formula is great, it's a gel that doesn't dry too fast so I have enough time to apply it. It feels a bit sticky, but give it 20-25 minutes and it will be fully absorbed. I love the packaging, the pump is convenient and it's easy to use the same amount of product on each arm and leg.
This self tanner gave me a beautiful dark tan, it's pretty much the only product out there that I can use while I'm already tan, other self tanners aren't dark enough to see any difference!! Unfortunately, it doesn't have a guide color. I think it's very important to see where you apply the product when it gives such a dark tan. I know how to apply self tanner, I think I did it a hundred times now but I'm nervous every time I use this one. I noticed a strong after-tan smell too, so keep that in mind if that's something you can't stand. It did go away after a shower though.
Sun Sheen Intense Tan Self-Tanning Face Cream ($39 CAD for 50ml)
The gel-cream consistency is very easy to apply evenly, it doesn't sink into the skin too fast.
The product isn't tinted, but it's always easier for me to apply self tanner on my face so it's not a problem for me. It gives a dark tan that last up to 3 days! (the color is a tad lighter than the Body Jelly)
It's very moisturizing too so if self tanners usually dry out your skin, you will love this one! It's a bit too rich for my oily skin, but it didn't break me out and a light dusting of loose powder helps to mattify my skin. I love it!
