Made by infusing refined Polynesian coconut oil with fresh Tiaré flowers, the Monoï Body Glow Oils delivers a blend of hydrating essences native to Tahiti.
With notes of tiare blossom, white frangipani, ylang-ylang and vanilla, the scent is divine! I wish this was available as a perfume because I would buy it in an heartbeat! Please, NARS!
Monoï Body Glow II Body Oil ($80 CAD for 75ml)
If you prefer a colorless oil that you can use all over your body and on your hair, get this one! I like to apply body oils right after a shower when my skin is still moist, allowing the oils to absorb faster.
This is a slightly thicker oil than your typical dry oil, but it absorbs very quickly. I keep touching my skin throughout the day, it feels so soft, moisturized and supple! It gives a beautiful glow as well, but it's more subtle than the Body Glow I bronzing oil.
This product smells like heaven, I'm seriously obsessed with it! Can't. Get. Enough. I just wish that the scent would last longer, I can still smell it on my skin after a few hours but it's definitely more subtle.
Monoï Body Glow I Bronzing Body Oil ($80 CAD for 75ml)
Both Body Glow oils add a sexy gleam on the skin, but the Body Glow I has shimmers in it and add a bit of color as well. This golden bronze oil will look good on all skin tones, the color is quite sheer and isn't overly warm. If you want a light tan for a special occasion without committing to self tanners, you will love this! It can be washed off quickly and is so easy to apply. And the shimmers adds such a pretty sheen on the skin, it looks amazing on legs and arms!!
On my nails : OPI Stop it I'm Blushing
If you have blonde hair and want to apply a few drops in your hair, please note that the bronzing oil can stain. The Body Glow II (colorless) would be a better choice for you.
In comparison to NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Or, the consistency is thicker and it seems to moisturize a bit more. Also, the NUXE oil has larger sparkles in it and doesn't change the color of my skin. The smell is different, it's definitely more floral than NARS. I love NUXE, but if I had to choose between both oils I would get NARS even if it's much more expensive!
