NARS Powermatte Lip Pigments

Infused with liquefied pigments, NARS' new Powermatte Lip Pigments are said to provide full coverage in one swipe and weightless wear. There's 20 matte shades to choose from, ranging from a delicate rose nude to a rich black.

The consistency is very thin, quite different than the other liquid lipsticks I already own! The Make Up For Ever and Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid lipsticks have a thicker gel-cream texture, but these Powermatte Lip Pigments are almost thin like ink!

But surprisingly, they are extraordinarily pigmented so they aren't streaky at all! One thin layer is all you need, and that's a good thing when it comes to liquid lipsticks because sometimes other formulas can flake off if you apply a thick layer.

The thin formula doesn't dry too fast, which is another aspect I like about these lipsticks. After a few minutes, the product sets to a matte finish. It's not completely transfer proof (it can smudge if you rub your lips) but it doesn't come off on everything like a traditional lipstick.

Get Up Stand Up and Light My Fire wore well for 7 hours, while Get It On lasted 5 hours on me.

By the way, they smell like vanilla! I love vanilla scented lipsticks, so I'm not complaining!

I also love the pointy applicator, it makes it easy to apply the lipstick with precision!

I am beyond obsessed with these liquid lipsticks. You do need to shake it well before use and open the tube slowly (because the formula is very fluid) but the Powermatte Lip Pigments are fabulous!

Get It On is a warm rosy beige with a matte finish.

Get Up Stand Up is a coral pink with a matte finish.

Light My Fire is a bright orange red with a matte finish.
