I have the shade 10N, which is the second lightest shade.
10N is a bit lighter than MAC NC15 (but darker than NC10) and has neutral, slightly gold undertones.
Please note that the color dries down darker, the shade 10N is very pale on me immediately after the application but it's noticeably darker after 10-15 minutes. However, it doesn't get darker as the day pass by. You can see the true color on the photo below!
Left to right : Dermablend Flawless Creator in 10N, MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15, L'Oréal Infallible Pro-Glow in 201, NARS Natural Radiant in Montblanc, Bourjois Healthy Mix in No. 51, MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC10 and Make Up For Ever Ultra HD in Y225. (Swatches on fair skin, similar to NC10-NC15)
This product is very pigmented, just a few drops in your favorite moisturizer will give you medium to full coverage! You can add a tiny drop too, if you prefer light coverage. The possibilities are endless! However, I tested these liquid pigments a few different ways and the results were all across the board.
I love the finish when I mix it with my Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, but the wear time is awful. It separates by the 5 hours mark! The same thing happens when I mix it with my Vichy Mineral 89 Daily Booster.
However, I get the best results when I mix it with a primer! I tried two : Laura Mercier's primer in Radiance Bronze and L'Oréal's Infallible Glow-Lock illuminating primer. The Laura Mercier and Flawless Creator mixture is my favorite, it wears well for 11 hours on my oily skin! I need to use a blotting sheet after 3 hours, but the foundation doesn't separate. And the finish is beautiful too!
Dermablend Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments in 10N (without primer or powder)
By itself, the coverage is insane and the finish is quite matte! But the staying power isn't that great, it separates in less than 5 hours. Also, I find that it accentuates dry patches if I use it alone (it doesn't cling onto dry skin when I mix it with an hydrating primer).
My skin is very oily though, so you might have better results if your skin is normal to dry.
Dermablend Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments in 10N + Laura Mercier Primer in Radiance Bronze (without powder)
So as you can see, the results can vary.. a lot! I can't wear it by itself, it doesn't last on my oily skin even if I set it with some powder and a makeup setting spray. On the other hand, I love the concept and the Laura Mercier primer + Dermablend Flawless Creator duo is fabulous!
I'm on the fence. This product is brilliant and fun to play with, but it took me a few trial and errors to find out what works best for me.
The Dermablend Professional Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments retail for $52 CAD for 30ml and are available at Ulta, Amazon, beautyboutique.ca, Dillards and dermablend.ca.

Great post, but I think your nail colour stole the show for me! Great shade, lol!

Hahah it's CND Shellac in Uncovered, but the color is a bit off on this photo! It's less yellow in real life.

ReplyDeleteHi Fatima!
DeleteI think it would be a bit too light. I'm not familiar with the other colors, unfortunately.
Yes, I love it at first but it separates on my skin after 3 hours making it look patchy.
ReplyDeleteTry it mixed with a primer!
