L'Oréal Paris Paradise Enchanted Scented Eye Shadow Palette

A few weeks ago, L'Oréal Paris launched a new warm-toned eyeshadow palette! Infused with a fruity scent, the Paradise Enchanted palette features 12 shades in matte and shimmery finishes.

I love the color selection and how silky smooth the formula feels! These eyeshadows are blending out really nicely as well, which was a nice surprise.

However, I suggest to use an eyeshadow primer with this palette because most of the shades are much sheerer when applied directly on the skin. But this isn't an issue for me, as I always use an eyeshadow primer anyway.

Scent-wise, the Paradise Enchanted palette really smells like peaches! To me, it smells more like candied peaches than fresh and juicy peaches.

I think the shade 1 (pinky white) is a nice addition to this palette, especially for light to medium skin tones (it can look chalky on deeper complexions). It's a pretty color to highlight the brow bone, and I love how the finish isn't too frosty!

The color 2 (light peachy beige) is completely invisible on me, but I like to use it to blend out any harsh lines. I find that the color 4 (light pinky peach) is barely noticeable as well, I wish it was more pigmented.

The shades 3 (pinky champagne) and 5 (pale gold) feel a bit chunky and powdery in comparison to the other shades, and I don't like how powdery they look on my lids. However, they are very pretty if I apply them with a damp brush!

The colors 8 (light golden brown) and 9 (medium warm brown) perform beautifully! They are nicely pigmented and blend like a dream. The shade 11 (dark warm brown) could be more pigmented, though.

I love the colors 6 (reddish copper), 10 (golden mauvy pink) and 12 (rich brown) too, the color payoff is great and I just can't get enough of shimmery neutrals! Oh, and the shade 7 (coral orange) is very pretty!

Overall, it's a beautiful eyeshadow palette! It may not be the best eyeshadows for aging eyes though, as I find that the formula looks a tad powdery and heavy on the skin (which tends to accentuate fine lines).
