The Power Play concealer has a thin consistency and leaves a slightly sticky film on the skin, but it doesn't feel heavy under the eyes. It sets on the skin after a few minutes and dries down to a beautiful finish (slightly luminous)! It looks more matte if I set it with loose powder, but it doesn't look dry or cakey.

Speaking of powder, I always set my concealer because all of them crease on me. This one settles a little bit in my fine lines, but it's not very noticeable unless I'm looking in a magnifying mirror.

It lasts more than 12 hours on me and doesn't make my under eye look 10 years older as the day progresses (BareMinerals' BarePro concealer did that to me, so strange!).

I'm wearing Cover FX's Power Play Concealer in G Light 1 and P Light 2 (without powder) and Blinking Beauté's Luxe Silk Lashes in Mademoiselle

I love the formula, it blends out seamlessly into the skin and doesn't dry too fast. I like to blend it with my fingertips for maximum coverage, but you can use a sponge if you prefer.

I would say that the coverage is medium-to-full, but sheerer if you use a Beautyblender instead of your fingers. I wish it was a bit more opaque (My under eye circles are very dark!), but it's such a beautiful formula and one of the best concealer I've ever used!

Oh and by the way, if your skin is super fair you're going to love the shade White! I use it to lighten concealers or foundations that are too dark, and it adds coverage too. It's awesome!

  1. Ive got their power play foundation and I love that stuff so much but one down side is that Cover FX and others dont mix sometimes and finding products that work with them is a challange. I have some concelers that work with them but when I heard this was coming out I was so excited to hear that they had this stuff coming out, I'm defently wanting to try this out for myself to see how it performs with the founation.

    1. Hi Katie!

I'm glad you love the foundation! The concealer is very creamy and blends out beautifully. I find that the foundation is difficult to work with (it dries very fast), but not the concealer.

Let me know if you give it a try!
