Rodial Collagen Boost Lip Lacquers

As you may know already, Rodial has launched a new lip product recently! Available in six colors, Rodial's new Collagen Boost Lip Lacquers are said to be non-sticky, creamy and hydrating. In addition, they contain a collagen boosting active for fuller and younger looking lips!

What I love the most about these lip lacquers is how they feel on my lips, they aren't sticky at all! And I hate sticky lip products, so when I say a lip gloss isn't sticky I really mean it. The texture is very smooth and they don't feel thick or heavy on the lips. Oh and they have a subtle scent (I can't describe how they smell), nothing overpowering.

They don't burn or sting my lips like most lip plumpers, but they don't have a plumping effect right away. They have been formulated to support collagen production, so they help plump lips over time.

Aside from the shade Champagne Showers, which is packed with pink micro glitters, all the colors have a glossy creme finish with no visible shimmers.

The shades Stripped and Champagne Showers are sheer, while the other colors are almost completely opaque and very pigmented!

Out of the 6 shades, three of them (Stripped, Beach, Please! and Bae-Berry) tend to settle into the fine lines on the surface of my lips, I can only use them if I apply a thin layer or layer them on top of a lipstick. My lips aren't perfectly smooth though, I have this issue with a lot of lip products.

By the way, I like to layer Stripped and Beach, Please! on top of a nude or rosy mauve lipstick, like Clarins' Joli Rouge Velvet Lipstick in Sandy Pink and Lise Watier's Rouge Intense Supreme Lipstick in Kim.

These lip lacquers are very nourishing and hydrating too! I used them a few days in a row and my lips are much softer than usual. I wish there was a clear version because I would use it as a lip balm!

My favorites shades? Beach Please, Bae-Berry and Intimate!
