These lipsticks are very creamy and offer opaque coverage in one swipe! Unlike most liquid lipsticks though, this formula doesn't dry down and isn't transfer proof... but the staying power is still impressive! The finish is creamy and slightly glossy, although the finish is more semi-matte after a few hours.
In comparison to Lise Watier's Baiser Velours liquid lipsticks, they are more moisturizing and the finish is definitely more glossy. In fact, the Baiser Satin lipsticks offer the same creamy and slightly glossy finish than Too Faced's Melted Lipsticks, but the consistency is thicker and a tad more sticky.
To be honest I prefer the Baiser Velours lipsticks because I have a soft spot for that gorgeous matte finish, but I'm still deeply in love with the shade Blushing Kiss!
Blushing Kiss is a soft pinky beige. This color is difficult to describe, it's not really peachy yet it's not a cool toned pink. This is my favorite shade and it lasts 5 hours on me, pretty good for a light shade eh?
MAC Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy is lighter, less pink. MAC Please Me is lighter. Colourpop Lippie Stix in Bound is lighter, cooler.
Red Hot Kiss is a classic red. It's a stunning colour, but I noticed quite a bit of feathering around the 5 hours mark, so I highly suggest to use a lipliner with this one. It last 8 hours on me with a lipliner though.
Estée Lauder Matte Sculpting Lipstick in Decisive Poppy is slightly lighter and less bright, the finish is more matte. BITE Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Gazpacho is similar but slightly cooler. MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in RiRi Woo is slightly cooler and the finish is matte.
MAC Chatterbox is brighter, warmer. Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Peony is lighter. MAC Please Me is lighter.
