Can you believe I've never tried TheBalm eyeshadows before? Crazy I know, considering the fact that I already own (and love) many TheBalm products! The TheBalm Appétit Palette features 9 matte and shimmery eyeshadows in flattering colors.

I've been using this palette for nearly two weeks and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like it! All the shades blend out beautifully (even the matte colors) and I haven't noticed any fallouts.
The frosty and metallic shades (Tate R. Tots, Rocky Road-Icecream, Chris P. Bacon) are buttery smooth and highly pigmented even without a primer. The formula on these three eyeshadows is fabulous! The six other shades tend to be a bit dusty and less pigmented, but the color payoff is excellent with a primer. I always use an eyeshadow primer anyway so that's not a problem for me!
The colors are beautiful, I love the mix of mattes and shimmers! And don't you just love the funny names? I have to admit that I giggled quite a bit when I saw Chris P. Bacon! lol
Mac Encheese and Ray Sinbread are great transition shades, and I can't get enough of Tate R. Tots and Rocky Road-Icecream! Chris P. Bacon has such a beautiful finish and formula too! Bruce Schetta is your typical boring matte beige shade, but always a nice addition to any eyeshadow palette. Artie Chokedip is my least favorite shade, simply because I rarely wear bluish grey on my eyes. I like to wear Alfred O'Pasta on the upper lashline or use it to add some depth to any eye look.
Bruce Schetta is a light peachy pink beige with a matte finish.
Mac Encheese is a medium mauve with a matte finish.
Ray Sinbread is a light golden brown with a matte finish.
Tate R. Tots is a rose gold with a sparkly and shimmery finish.
Rocky Road-Icecream is a mauve taupe with a shimmery finish.
Chis P. Bacon is a saturated reddish copper with a metallic finish.
Hal Apeno-Poppers is a light grayish green with a luminous finish.
Artie Chokedip is a medium bluish grey with a luminous finish.
Alfred O'Pasta is a deep charcoal grey with a shimmery finish and silver micro glitters.
The TheBalm Appétit Eyeshadow Palette retail for $39.50 US for 13.5g.
