Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Smoky Eyes Mascara

Enriched with kohl pigments and collagen, The Colossal Smoky Eyes mascara give your lashes volume and a super matte look, without any clumping. You know, if there's one product that I keep purchasing from the drugstore, it's my mascara. After all, you shouldn't keep it for more than 3 months and the quality of drugstore mascaras is quite good too!

The brush dispenses the right amount of product to each individual lash! The texture isn't too liquid or too dry, but I only opened my tube 2 weeks ago so I can't tell yet if it will change. 

Its shade (Blackest Smoke) is a very dark black. It gives a lot of volume and add a little bit of length without clumping. When I used it for the first time, I was very impressed that I could had so many coats without any clumps!

Since my lashes need a waterproof formula to keep the curl, I need to apply 2-3 thin coats over another waterproof mascara. 

For this picture, I applied a very light coat of waterproof mascara and 3 coats of The Colossal Smoky Eyes. I also curled my lashes on the 'before' picture, because you wouldn't really see the natural length of my lashes.

I'm very impressed by that mascara, I can put 4 thick coats on and it never look like spider legs. It's an amazing drugstore mascara, but next time I will try the waterproof formula since my lashes are too finicky.
